Combined with the Sachtler™ Touch & Go automatic locking system, TANGO is the fastest third axis which is adaptable on any type of head.

Compared to his competitors, TANGO enjoys a considerable advantage of being able to rotate on the optical axis, allowing the camera operator to change the angle of the horizon.

The patented conception of TANGO includes small product-dimension. The thickness is only 2.3". Whatever head chosen, the panoramic movement remains horizontal and the tilt stays vertical. So you will realize that the manoeuvring of the fluid or gear head remains unchanged. The twin support and racks add further advantages to TANGO such as silence, steadyness and flexibility when moving your camera, and a locking position range of 90° degrees.

TANGO allows you to safelly and easilly move your camera in giving a third axis of motion to your favorite two axes head.

Why Dutch?

"Dutch" means that you to rotate the picture 45° to the left or to the right of the optical axis. In other words, the camera is tilted on its side.

"Tango" or “Swing” means that you to rotate the picture +45° or –45° around the optical axis. In other words, you affect the angle between the camera and the horizon.

Manual or Motorized Tango?

Motorized Tango

Manual: Allows the camera to be rotated on its optical axis, +45° or -45° by one degree increments. Manual adjustment of the camera position via handle only.

• The camera cannot swing while you are shooting
• New: the Tango Hand Wheel allows the camera to swing while shooting

Available as a retrofit kit for all existing Tango heads, it allows the operator to swing the camera manualy while shooting. It is great for pack shots and commercials. The hand wheel has the same diameter as the well accepted Arrihead handwheels.
